About Me
- Jim Van Winkle (a.k.a. "Opi")
- I am a retired civil engineer turned amateur paleontologist and rockhound, and grandfather of 6 junior (& prospective) fossil and rock collectors. I spend much of my time bringing the joys of my hobbies to elementary school children through after school enrichment classes and presentations with my rock club's education team.
